Technical Writer , Horizontal Talent – $57 – $92 per hour
Join a dynamic team as a Technical Writer, where you will play a crucial role in creating and updating documentation for innovative technology solutions. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing opportunities for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Update and enhance existing technical documentation to reflect new features and improvements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product management teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Work with fellow writers to maintain consistency in style and presentation across all materials.
- Create high-quality technical content that communicates complex information clearly and concisely.
Skills
- BA degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in writing technical content.
- Exceptional English writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Proficient in documenting public cloud products, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
- Experience using Oxygen XML Author or similar tools for DITA documentation.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for documentation management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with CLI and Linux-like operating systems.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
