About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Documentation Writer with a strong foundation in traditional technical writing and a forward-looking mindset for AI-driven content delivery. In addition to working closely with product, engineering, and the customer education team to produce clear, concise documentation, you will also help shape and maintain content that is easily consumed and surfaced by AI agents powered by RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
This role is embedded in our development and release cycles, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with how users and AI interfaces consume knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation for product features, APIs, user guides, and tutorials.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and customer education teams to understand features and ensure documentation aligns with user needs.
- Structure and tag content in Document360 for effective retrieval by AI agents, ensuring semantic clarity and coverage of likely user intents.
- Tune documentation for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines:

- Write modular, well-scoped content chunks optimized for vector search and embedding models
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and completeness to improve AI understanding and reduce hallucination
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to evaluate how documentation performs when used by AI assistants
- Support ongoing content lifecycle management, ensuring outdated or fragmented knowledge is consolidated and AI-ready.
- Produce release notes, in-app help, and internal knowledge base articles used by customer support and success teams.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or equivalent role in a software/SaaS environment.
- Experience creating product documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong writing, editing, and information architecture skills.
- Hands-on experience using Document360 for content creation, organization, and publishing.
- Exposure to RAG concepts and AI documentation strategies, particularly how content is indexed, retrieved, and presented by AI agents.
- Experience writing content designed for semantic search, chunking, and use with vector databases or embeddings.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar, and video editing software for creating multimedia content.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for documentation is a plus.
- An analytical mindset with the capability to interpret user data to drive content decisions.environment.

- Familiarity with OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, or similar RAG tools.
- Experience training or tuning AI agents on proprietary content or support data.
- Understanding of metadata tagging, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Background in UX writing or content strategy.
- Experience with CRM, RevOps, or GTM planning platforms.

Working Conditions
Primary work is non-manual, office-related. The company is fully-remote. Occasional travel to meetings or company on-site events may be required.

90,250 – 99,500 USD per year(Utah)
90,250 – 99,500 USD per year(Seattle)
