TECHNICAL COPYWRITER

SUMMARY
The Technical Copywriter will be a part of the marketing team to plan, interview, and write marketing and sales content for the Qcells EPC business. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is remote and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 20%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Qcells EPC is looking for a Technical Copywriter who can deliver high-quality, technically accurate marketing materials that drive sales conversations and engage our customers. You’ll work directly with subject matter experts (engineers, product managers, project leads, and others) to translate technical insights into white papers, blogs, case studies, and one-pagers. Your job is execution: planning, interviewing, writing, editing, and publishing content that fuels our marketing and sales engine.
- Interview SMEs, Qcells team, customers, and other project stakeholders to extract insights that can be turned into strong marketing narratives & content.
- Write content across formats: blogs, white papers, case studies, one-pagers, web copy, sales decks, video scripts.
- Balance technical accuracy with persuasive storytelling.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align content with campaigns and sales needs.
- Keep projects organized and moving fast: draft, revise, and finalize content on tight timelines.
- Own end-to-end documentation of the creation process. Establish and maintain policies and procedures for content while conforming to Qcells’ existing styles, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee peer editing and production review work. Efficiently and thoroughly address feedback on published content from both customers and internal team.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company’s attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience writing technical B2B marketing content.
- Experience in utility scale energy, construction, and similar markets.
- Portfolio that shows ability to translate technical topics into engaging, customer-facing content.
- Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills to pull insights from C-suite, internal SMEs, team, customers, and other project stakeholders.
- Experience in evaluating and working across differing departments.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of B2B content marketing principles.
- Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, and other CMS platforms preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-first environment.
