Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.

- Summary: Technical Editor/PMThis team is seeking an experienced technical editor with excellent communication skills and experience in preparing technical readiness materials and customer-facing documentation for a global audience. This person will also be responsible for managing small projects across v-teams and communicating status. The team is responsible for creating and maintaining change management and new hire readiness material as well as customer-facing documentation across the entire FastTrack program. The team works in collaboration with product groups, operations, development and delivery teams to ensure that our team members are informed and trained to effectively assist customers to deploy and onboard Microsoft 365 plans and services.
- Responsibilities include:Analyze, interpret and simplify technical, operational and readiness documentation currently in use
- Prepare documentation and videos for publication and localization (both internal and customer-facing use); including process documents, technical articles, guides, reports and some limited graphics
- Ensure all documentation aligns with client standards including formatting, quality and accuracy standards as outlined in the Writing Style Guide, Accessibility and Term usage standards and Brand Central
- Manage and regularly communicate on project timelines and expectations across multiple stakeholders
- Assist with content management to ensure content stays fresh and relevant

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Top 3 Skills:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience with managing queues, generating tasks and creating and running queries in Azure DevOps (ADO)
2. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with Project management (track and report on timelines, generate status reports and work plans)
3. Minimum 4 years’ experience with Stakeholder management
Years of Experience: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical writing role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Microsoft 365 product experience or knowledge
- Technical expertise with products such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia or Clipchamp, GitHub, Markdown and .xml
- Familiarity and ability to manage work in Azure DevOps
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to handle ambiguity and multi-task
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of working with a remote team
- Work experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot a plus
Degree/Certs: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
Disqualifiers: Candidates with all previous job titles being very technical in nature would indicate a lack of experience in writing and communication and will not be eligible for the role.
Best: The ideal resume would have experience in a fast-paced environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proactive mindset. They should be proficient in Markdown in GitHub, Clipchamp, and Azure DevOps. Ideally, at least one of the candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in understanding how to improve training content and familiarity with training processes.
PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Performance will be assessed based on quality of work, which encompasses both the output and how they work, including speed and efficiency.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Start & End: 6/2/2025 – 6/30/2026.
Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.
Typical Tasks: The role will consist of the following,
- 65% editing/publishing
- 15% ADO management
- 20% collaboration
Interaction Level:High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.
Work Environment: Remote.
Flex Hours/Remote: Fully remote.
Extension: Planning to extend. Candidates need a full 18-month tenure.
