Tech News Summary Editor
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tech News Summary Editor to analyze and summarize key IT and Big Tech news articles from the U.S. into Korean. This is a remote, freelance position ideal for individuals with strong English comprehension, excellent Korean writing skills, and a keen interest in technology trends.
Qualifications
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English / Native Korean
Experience: Not required (relevant experience is a plus)
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Working Conditions
- Employment Type: Freelancer

- Location: USA (or ability to work in U.S. time zones)
- Working Hours: 3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday)
-Based on Pacific Standard Time (EST):
Monday to Thursday: 11:30 – 15:30
Saturday: 18:00 – 22:00
-Based on Eastern Standard Time (PST):
Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 12:30
Saturday: 15:00 – 19:00
*Must be available to work on U.S. holidays and on Saturdays.
*No work required during Korean holidays or major Big Tech earnings periods
- Duration: Minimum 6 months (subject to extension based on performance and project needs)
- Compensation: Competitive, negotiable based on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze key U.S. IT & Big Tech news articles
- Summarize articles concisely in well-written Korean
- Ensure summaries are accurate and grammatically correct
