Sr. Copywriter – $35 – $45 an hour
Duties
- Writing content: Creating content for multiple mediums, including emails, magazines, newsletters, text campaigns, websites, blogs, social media posts, and more
- Understanding our audience: Tailoring your content to persuade or inform our customers
- Using storytelling techniques: Using storytelling and psychological messaging to engage our audience and drive them toward taking action
- Having an excellent grasp of grammar and syntax: Ensuring your work has the appropriate tone and language level for our audience
- Collaborating: Working with designers, SEO experts, social media teams, and more to ensure a cohesive brand strategy
- Meeting with clients: Understanding their message, brand voice, and target audience, then editing and modifying copy to meet their content expectations
- Proposing copy concepts: Carrying out these projects, once they have been approved
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information: Turning this information into persuasive copy concepts
- Presenting complex information clearly: Taking complex material and presenting it in a way that’s easy to understand
- Researching: Gathering and analyzing data on assigned topics, then sharing that research and findings with senior marketing staff
- Staying up to date: Keeping abreast of industry news and trends
- Editing: Editing content that others write to ensure it’s up to our brand standards and in our developed brand voice
