Social Media Specialist – $23.00-$25.00/hour
24DATA, Inc. is seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Content Creator to support the growth of a proprietary platform through consistent, engaging short-form video content.
This role is focused on producing content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, with an emphasis on creating videos that are clear, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice. You will be responsible for bringing ideas to life from concept through editing, and posting, while maintaining a steady and consistent content presence.
The ideal candidate is comfortable being hands-on, self-directed, and able to create content that feels natural and relatable. You should have a strong sense of what performs well on short-form platforms and be able to translate ideas into content quickly and effectively.
This is a contract-based, remote position with the potential for ongoing work based on performance and content needs.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form video content (primarily TikTok and Instagram Reels) on a consistent basis
- Contribute content ideas and execute them in alignment with brand direction
- Film, edit, and prepare videos for posting
- Write captions and ensure content is formatted appropriately for each platform
- Stay up to date on trends and adapt content styles when relevant
- Manage posting schedule and maintain consistency in output
- Collaborate with internal team members for feedback and direction
Qualifications
- Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of what performs well on short-form video (hooks, pacing, trends)
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow
- Ability to take direction while also contributing ideas
- Reliable, consistent, and able to meet content deadlines
- Experience creating content for brands or business-focused platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with analytics and performance tracking is helpful but not required
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
