Social Media ManagerRole Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead content planning, creation, and growth initiatives for multiple client accounts. This role blends strategy, creative execution, client communication, and influencer marketing management. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative as someone who understands how to grow localized audiences while driving measurable lead generation results.
Core Responsibilities
Aesthetic Subject Matter Expert
- Deep Industry Understanding: Develop and maintain expertise in all aesthetic treatments including injectables (Botox, Restylane, Sculptra), laser treatments (resurfacing, tattoo removal), and body sculpting (CoolSculpting, liposculpture)
- Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and technological innovations
- Understand and maintain HIPAA compliance and medical marketing regulations
- Expertise in clinical photography and standardized before/after documentation
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage monthly social media calendars for client and Goldman Marketing Group accounts
- Build platform-specific strategies aligned with client goals (brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, follower growth)
- Identify content opportunities based on trends, audience insights, and performance data
- Balance localized follower growth with performance-driven lead generation strategies
Content Creation & Execution
- Write compelling captions and develop engaging content concepts
- Create short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Edit video content optimized for each platform
- Coordinate or execute basic graphic design as needed
- Ensure brand consistency across all client accounts
Client Communication & Performance Management
- Serve as a point of contact for social media clients
- Lead strategy discussions and content alignment meetings
- Track and report on KPIs (engagement, reach, growth, leads, conversions)
- Translate performance data into actionable improvements
Influencer Marketing Management
- Research and source relevant influencers aligned with client goals
- Conduct outreach and manage influencer relationships
- Negotiate and manage contracts and deliverables
- Track campaign performance and ROI
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Ensure all social content meets brand standards and medical marketing regulations
- Maintain consistent voice and messaging across all platforms
- Ensure social media stays in alignment and support with the overarching marketing strategy
- Monitor engagement and community management across all channels
- Track and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance
Additional Support & Ad Hoc Projects
- Support non-social clients with in-house teams through strategy or creative guidance
- Assist with ad hoc design and video editing projects as needed
- Stay up to date on platform updates, trends, and best practices
Required Skills
- Strong video editing skills (short-form, mobile-first content preferred)
- Proven experience developing social media growth strategies
- Clear understanding of localized audience growth tactics
- Experience driving lead generation through social media
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written communication and client-facing skills
- Experience with influencer sourcing and campaign management
- Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics
- Demonstrated expert ability to integrate AI (GPT, Claude, or other LLMs) and technological innovations within the social media process
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4
- Highly proficient in GSuite including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Dropbox, and the ability to quickly learn any new software
- Experience using project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Trello or similar)
Additional Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
- At least 2 years experience in aesthetic medical practice social media management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
