Dragon Shield is a high-growth company, renowned for creating premium accessories, that protect and elevate the games and collectibles we cherish.
We are seeking a Social Media Manager, who will own and amplify the Dragon Shield brand.
Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy
- Develop a social media strategy in collaboration with the Director of Marketing
- Evaluate and ensure that Dragon Shield uses the social media channels most relevant to the brand and overall business objectives.
Content Creation
- Create and maintain a content plan that adheres to the timing of launches and other brand initiatives.
- Shoot and edit video content for use on DS social media channels
- Work with Omnichannel Manager to produce content specifically made for ads
- Brief graphic designers for SoMe assets
- Share relevant content from content creators and other collaborators on our channels.
- Collaborate with “Content Creator Manager” in utilizing content creators to bring mutually beneficial content to DS channels.
- Travel to relevant events to create content for DS channels.
Community Engagement
- Drive engagement and increase brand love by interacting with the community on social media.
- Develop and run User Generated Content (UGC) campaigns that foster engagement and increase brand awareness.
Analyze Social Media Data
- Generate reports that leverage social media data and ensure that the data needed for the KPI reporting is set up correctly
- Gather qualitative feedback from the community on products, games, audience behavior etc. and share when relevant with product development.
Qualifications
- Located on the East Coast. – Preferred
- Relevant educational background in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
- Min. 1-3 years of experience in fields such as end-user communication, social media management and/or content production.
- Strong Interest in the world of card gaming or related hobbies (e.g., cosplaying, collecting comic books) with understanding of the community of gamers, and know how to create content and communication that will get to the gamer’s heart. Preferably a gamer/nerd with and have deep insight in the community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey the brand voice authentically across platforms.
- Strong skills in creating compelling social media content, including written posts, images, and videos, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Ability to stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as willingness to adapt practices according to newest trends.
- Fluency in English; Danish is an advantage but not required.
- Experience with FMCG is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development.
