Social Media Manager – Ancora Education
Summary
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to manage our multi-brand social media accounts. They will manage our company image on social media in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. The Social Media Manager is in charge of the company’s interactions with the public through social media platforms using a unified voice. They will devise and implement content strategies and collect engagement data. Ultimately, you should be able to increase our social media presence, ensuring high web traffic and engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Acquisition:
- Develop and execute data-driven social media strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive customer acquisition.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Create engaging and informative content (text, images, videos) optimized for each social media platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok, Reddit).
- Manage the social media content calendar and posting schedule, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.
- Community Engagement & Customer Relations:
- Build and nurture online communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.
- Develop and implement social media programs to enhance customer relationships and brand loyalty.
- Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each social media channel, including engagement, reach, impressions, website traffic, and conversions.
- Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize social media campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to the marketing team.
- Campaign Management & Collaboration:
- Partner with business units to develop and implement social media campaigns that support specific product launches, promotions, or events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product marketing, communications, design, web development, sales) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Manage social media budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize campaign ROI.
- Platform Innovation & Emerging Technologies:
- Stay abreast of new and emerging social media platforms and trends.
- Evaluate and recommend new social media tools and technologies to enhance the company’s social media presence.
- Oversee the launch and implementation of new social media platforms, ensuring successful integration with existing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in digital marketing and/or social media management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, HubSpot, Brandwatch).
- Familiarity with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging social media content.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to extract insights from social media data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ClickDimensions and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Experience with digital analysis and marketing solutions such as Adobe Marketing Cloud and/or Google AdWords, Facebook custom audiences is a plus.
