Social Media Manager
Kettle & Fire is looking for a world-class operator to own and scale our organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This isn’t a post-and-pray job – it’s a high-ownership role for a creative powerhouse who moves fast, thinks big, and thrives on turning insight into impact.
As Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of our social channels – growing our reach, deepening community engagement, and elevating our brand storytelling that cuts through the noise. You’ll work cross-functionally with high performers across our team, bringing a deep understanding of social platform mechanics and the instincts to create content that commands attention.
We’re looking for someone who thinks like a strategist, creates like a storyteller, and executes with an ownership mindset. You’ll have the autonomy and support to drive real results – and the creative freedom to build something remarkable.
This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Brand Management. It is a remote position with minimal travel expected.

How You’ll Be Contributing:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Grow Reach & Awareness: Lead the development and execution of our social content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn — expanding our visibility, growing our audience, and elevating the Kettle & Fire brand. Manage a content calendar that aligns with brand priorities and campaign timelines.
- Deepen Community Engagement: Create and execute content and interaction strategies that drive meaningful engagement — sparking conversation, inviting participation, and building a loyal, values-aligned community.
- Drive Content Creation & Execution: Own the end-to-end creative process for platform-native content — from trend spotting and ideation to production and publishing. Stay on top of platform updates and trends. Create content yourself when needed, and manage freelance creators to scale output.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with brand marketing, influencer, and creative partners to amplify campaigns, product moments, and storytelling. Ensure social content ladders up to broader brand initiatives.
- Lead with Insight: Monitor performance across platforms and translate data into actionable insights. Use these learnings to refine content pillars, guide experimentation, and optimize strategy over time.
- Activate Emerging Platforms & Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and support social initiatives across TikTok Shop, UGC amplification, giveaways, and creator collaborations — finding new ways to grow reach and drive impact.
Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies for Success:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience owning organic social strategy and execution for consumer brands (CPG food & bev is preferred)
- Demonstrated success growing brand reach, building engaged communities, and driving audience growth through high-performing, platform-native content – not just maintaining channels, but scaling them strategically
- Experience managing freelance creators and/or agencies – including sourcing talent, providing briefs and creative direction, and ensuring high-quality, on-brand output
- Ability to concept, shoot, and edit platform-native content – backed by a strong portfolio that showcases your creative instincts and short-form storytelling expertise
- Strong copywriting skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling content that reflects brand voice and drives engagement
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, pivot quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience using tools like Sprout, Later, or native platform analytics to extract insights and optimize strategy
- Adept at cross-functional collaboration, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build trust and momentum across teams
- Passionate about health, wellness, and real food – and excited to authentically connect that passion with our community
- Comfortable working autonomously with a high degree of ownership, initiative, and creative leadership
