Job Overview
As the Social Media Manager at VINIO Marketing, you’ll lead the development and execution of creative, data-driven social media strategies across all platforms. This is the ideal role for a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and creative storyteller who’s passionate about the ever-evolving world of social. You’ll work closely with our team of marketing experts, designers, and client account managers, and stay ahead of digital trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for VINIO Marketing and client brands to align with business goals
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (posts, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.) for all major channels (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, etc.)
- Oversee day-to-day management of multiple social media accounts and maintain a consistent, on-brand voice for each client
- Monitor, track, and report on performance analytics (reach, engagement, conversions, follower growth, etc.); adjust strategies based on data and insights
- Manage and grow online communities, responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally
- Plan and execute paid social campaigns; manage budgets and optimize for maximum ROI
- Collaborate with VINIO Marketing’s creative, marketing, and client services teams to support product launches, campaigns, promotions, and company initiatives
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform changes, and emerging tools; proactively recommend new strategies and features for VINIO Marketing and our clients
- Partner with influencers, industry professionals, and brand advocates for collaborations and outreach
- Manage and oversee content calendars, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns are integrated across platforms
- Identify and mitigate reputational risks; manage social listening and crisis communications
- Conduct competitive analysis and audience research to inform content and strategy
- Test new content types, formats, and posting schedules to optimize results
- Train internal staff and clients on social best practices as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years proven experience managing social media for a business, agency, or brand (portfolio or work samples required)
- Demonstrated expertise with major social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creative storytelling
- Proficiency in graphic design, video editing, or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting
- Experience planning and executing paid social campaigns
- Exceptional organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
- High level of attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, influencer marketing, and community management is a plus
- Photography/videography skills are a plus
