Social Media Content Manager, Betty’s Bath & Day Spa
Betty’s Bath & Day Spa is a beloved wellness destination located in Albuquerque’s peaceful North Valley. Since 2000, we’ve offered massage, facials, and hydrotherapy in a minimalist, welcoming environment. We’re expanding our online presence and seeking a passionate contractor to help us authentically showcase Betty’s experience through social media.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a creative, reliable, and self-motivated Social Media Content manager to support our marketing efforts. This role will help us tell our story online, grow engagement with our community, and promote services and events in a voice that reflects the peaceful and inclusive spirit of Betty’s. This person will manage the following social media platforms:
- Google Reviews
- Yelp Reviews
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan & Schedule weekly posts (graphics, photos, and captions) for Instagram and Facebook
- Collaborate with in-house team to gather photos, quotes, and updates
- Create weekly Reels or equivalent video content for Instagram
- Monitor and respond to all messages, DMs, reviews, and comments within 24 hours
- Reply to reviews on Google and Yelp with thoughtful, brand aligned responses
- Write captions that reflect our voice: warm, inclusive, calming and professional
- Design simple visuals for events, promotions or seasonal campaigns
- Coordinate with the in-house team to collect new photos and service updates
- Monitor performance analytics and provide monthly insights
- Propose ideas for content improvements and seasonal campaigns
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience in managing social media for service-based or wellness businesses
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Proficient with Photoshop or similar design tools
- Familiar with Instagram and Facebook scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer)
- Photo editing and light video editing a plus
- Organized and communicative, with an eye for aesthetics and detail
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Must have reliable internet and communication tools
- Ability to meet deadlines and respond in a timely manner
- Interest in wellness, community, and spa culture preferred
- Previous freelance or remote work experience a plus
GENERAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates remotely and independently. Must be able to manage workload and communicate with the internal team as needed via Gmail / Google Meet.
