Social Media Content & Engagement Manager – $2K/month
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content & Engagement Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for crafting engaging social media content, managing our YouTube platforms, and driving audience engagement across various channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, social media strategy, and video editing, and possess a passion for staying on top of the latest trends in social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management
- Curate, schedule and post engaging YouTube content
- Write compelling copy and create visually appealing posts that align with our brand voice and goals (Primarily LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Produce high-quality visual content (photos, videos, graphics) using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
- Editing support for YouTube videos
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and aesthetics.
- Optimize posts including captions, hashtags, and visual elements.
- Social Media Engagement
- Monitor social media channels, and alert us to mentions in a timely manner.
- Foster a sense of community on YouTube by engaging with followers, joining conversations, and addressing inquiries or feedback.
- Identify and engage with potential brand advocates, influencers, and partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Track and engage with relevant trending topics and hashtags to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Strategy & Analytics
- Assist in developing and executing a strategy that aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
- Analyze metrics and insights to measure the success of campaigns, content performance, and engagement.
- Provide regular reports on performance and suggest improvements based on data.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously innovate and optimize the approach.
- Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Work closely with the production and strategy teams to develop integrated campaigns.
- Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and other external partners to amplify brand presence.
- Coordinate with the content calendar to ensure alignment with key events, product launches, and promotions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of social media and YouTube content.
- Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficient in design tools such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), or similar software.
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social).
- Experience with video content creation and editing for YouTube and social media.
- Proficient with Final Cut Pro for video editing
- Creative thinker with the ability to adapt content for various audiences and platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- A passion for social media trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with paid social media advertising (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram Ads).
- Experience in influencer marketing or brand partnerships.
