Content Launch is seeking a creative and strategic Short-Form Social Media Script Writer to join our remote team as a 1099 contractor (part-time or full-time).
In this role, you’ll write engaging 25–40 second scripts for service-based businesses across a wide variety of industries. Your scripts should capture attention immediately, maintain strong pacing throughout, and naturally lead viewers toward engagement or conversion.
You’ll also include simple filming and videography notes to help our production team execute each concept effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Write high-performing scripts optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop compelling hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Structure scripts with strong pacing and clear storytelling.
- Include filming and shot suggestions to support video production.
- Adapt writing style to match different client brands and industries.
- Stay current on social media trends and viral content formats.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience writing short-form social media scripts.
- Strong understanding of what drives engagement and virality across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to write for multiple industries and brand voices.
- Familiarity with short-form video editing and content creation workflows is a plus.
- Must be located in the United States.
