Scriptwriter | Charles Human Lab – $400-$800/script

Human Lab is a French-language YouTube channel about performance, biohacking and longevity. I test protocols on my own body, track real biomarkers, and document what actually works after 30. Recent long-forms have done 938K and 766K views.

I’m looking for a scriptwriter to take long-form scripts off my plate end to end: angle, research, structure, and a script that holds attention from the first second to the last.

One important detail: scripts are written and delivered in ENGLISH. I translate them into French myself, because my audience is francophone. Speaking French is a plus, not a requirement.

Remote, per project, ongoing work.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You think retention first. You structure for watch time (open loops, payoffs, curiosity gaps), not for essays.

You are comfortable in research territory: studies, meta-analyses, biomarkers, levels of evidence. You know the difference between correlation and causation, and you never overstate a finding to make a line hit harder.

You can write in a first-person, experience-led voice: “I tested this on myself, here are the numbers, here is what I still don’t know.” No guru tone, no hype, no miracle claims.

You have written for a niche channel before, and you understand that speaking to one specific person beats speaking to everyone.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years writing long-form YouTube scripts.

A portfolio of published videos you scripted. Retention graphs or performance data are very welcome.

Native-level written English.

A documented research process, with sources cited inside the script.

A paid trial script on a real topic from my pipeline before any ongoing commitment.

Budget: $400-800 per script depending on experience.

HOW TO APPLY

Send two things: a link to a script you wrote that performed well (and why you think it held), plus one sentence on the last piece of health or performance research you read/watch for fun.
