About the Role

We are seeking a full-time SEO Content Writer (40 hours/week) to create high-quality content across blogs, core website pages, and long-form educational resources. This role supports organic growth, enrollment, and brand authority across healthcare education and certification.

his is an in-house role, not an agency or freelance position. You will work closely with our Senior SEO Manager and Content team, executing against clear briefs and contributing to a scalable, AI-assisted content workflow.

Note: This role focuses on writing and optimizing SEO content.
While you may occasionally post approved content to social platforms for distribution, you will not be responsible for creating social media copy or managing social channels.
What You’ll Write

You will create and optimize content across ACT’s digital ecosystem, including:

  • SEO blog articles targeting high-intent and informational keywords
  • Core website pages, including:
  • Program and certification pages
  • Admissions and enrollment pages
  • Pre-health and allied health education pages
  • Long-form content, including:
  • Educational guides and resources
  • Pillar pages and topic clusters
  • Supporting sections for white papers and reports

Key Responsibilities

  • Write SEO-optimized content aligned with keyword strategy and search intent
  • Collaborate with the SEO Manager and Content Lead on:
  • Content briefs
  • Editorial calendars
  • Topic clusters and internal linking
  • Ensure content meets E-E-A-T standards (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust)
  • Structure content for:
  • Organic search
  • AI-generated summaries and citations
  • Clear user navigation and conversion
  • Refresh and optimize existing content to improve rankings and performance
  • Use AI tools responsibly for drafting and research, with human editorial control and fact-checking
  • Publish and distribute completed content on ACT’s website and social platforms as needed (no content creation for social)

Time Commitment

  • Full-time role (25-40 hr per week)

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of SEO content writing experience
  • Proven ability to write:
  • SEO-driven blog posts
  • Conversion-focused website pages
  • Long-form educational content
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Keyword research and search intent
  • On-page SEO and semantic structure
  • Internal linking and content hierarchy
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience writing for healthcare, education, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with E-E-A-T and AI-driven search visibility
  • Experience collaborating with SEO managers and content strategists
  • Comfort using AI writing tools responsibly and effectively
  • Interest in healthcare education, certification, or workforce development
