About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Copywriter to lead our copywriting strategy, shape our brand voice, and craft compelling narratives that drive engagement. Working within our in-house creative studio and reporting to the Head of Brand, you’ll oversee copy development across multiple touchpoints, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and compliant brand voice. What You’ll Be Doing
As our Senior Marketing Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for defining and evolving our brand’s messaging, ensuring consistency across marketing, product, and patient communications. You’ll create engaging copy that balances creativity with compliance, working closely with marketing, legal, and medical teams to deliver impactful storytelling. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior writers, oversee content strategies, and optimise messaging to improve engagement and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Develop and refine our brand voice strategy and messaging architecture.
- Copy Development: Oversee and produce high-quality copy across marketing campaigns, website content, emails, social media, and digital ads.
- Content Strategy: Craft compelling patient informational and promotional materials, balancing compliance with creativity.
- Campaign Narratives: Develop strategic messaging for major marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Guidelines & Frameworks: Create and maintain comprehensive tone of voice guidelines and writing frameworks.
- Optimisation & Testing: Lead copy testing and performance analysis to refine messaging and improve conversions.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior writers, reviewing copy and ensuring brand alignment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical and legal teams to develop compliant yet engaging copy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present messaging strategies to internal teams and senior leadership.
- Innovation & Compliance: Drive innovation in storytelling while maintaining regulatory compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Extensive copywriting experience in a senior role.
- Proven track record leading copy development for major campaigns or brand initiatives.
- Experience developing tone of voice guidelines and messaging frameworks.
- Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking and creative excellence.
- Experience mentoring junior writers and reviewing content.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and content strategy.
- Experience writing for regulated industries (healthcare, pharmaceuticals, fintech, etc.).
Bonus Skills
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical copywriting experience.
- Experience developing copy strategies for fast-growing D2C brands.
- Strong understanding of copy testing, conversion optimisation, and behavioural psychology.
- Background in UX writing or content design.
- Experience with customer journey mapping and content strategy.
