About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Direct Response Financial Copywriter who can craft persuasive, emotionally intelligent copy that drives conversions.You’ll write across ads, funnels, YouTube scripts, and email sequences. You will help shape how prospects discover, trust, and invest with Yieldschool.
This is a performance-driven creative role for a copywriter who understands psychology, data, and market sentiment.You’ll write to persuade, educate, and convert, while maintaining the authority and credibility of a leading financial brand.
What You’ll Do
- Write 5 ad sets weekly for cold traffic (each = 1 body, 3 hooks, 2 primary text, 2 headlines)
- Create VSLs and lead-in variants as needed
- Write landing pages, thank-you pages, and funnel pages that convert traffic into applications
- Produce 1 YouTube script weekly (10–15 min) with titles, thumbnails, and descriptions
- Deliver 7+ short-form scripts weekly for reels and repurposed YouTube clips
- Write captions, carousels, and story copy that build awareness and trust
- Produce 7 broadcast emails weekly (one daily) and automation sequences for each stage of the customer journey
- Test messaging angles and hooks, document results, and refine frameworks for repeatable success
- Collaborate weekly with the Head of Marketing on strategy, messaging, and new creative directions
- Write any other copy-related tasks for Yieldschool as needed, ensuring alignment with brand voice, strategy, and campaign objectives
What You Bring
- Proven experience writing direct-response financial copy that converts cold audiences
- Strong understanding of investor psychology, markets, and sentiment cycles
- Experience in crypto, finance, or fintech preferred
- Deep knowledge of VSLs, funnels, and cold-traffic ads
- Proven success creating email nurture sequences that drive long-term sales
- Ability to distill complex financial or crypto concepts into clear, persuasive ideas
- Analytical mindset—comfortable testing, tracking, and iterating for performance
- High attention to detail, speed, and adaptability across multiple content formats
- Low-ego, high-ownership approach to feedback and collaboration
- Curiosity, empathy, and relentless commitment to understanding the customer
