At Write Edge, we believe in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students and help them excel in English and Writing. We are looking for a Senior Curriculum Writer (Remote) to join our team and play a key role in developing, refining, and innovating our curriculum.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do (Your Impact)

1. Lesson Creation & Innovation

• Develop and refine engaging, structured, and interactive lesson plans for English and Writing programmes.
• Regularly update and improve curriculum materials based on student progress, teacher feedback, and educational trends.
• Ensure lessons are error-free, high-quality, and aligned with academic objectives.

2. Quality & Accuracy

• Vet all curriculum content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Maintain rigorous quality control to produce error-free and impactful materials.

3. Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with Curriculum Leads and fellow writers to develop and refine lesson content.
• Contribute to special projects such as teacher training materials, workshops, and curriculum innovation initiatives.
• Support business initiatives (as needed), including trial lessons and marketing materials that drive student enrollment.

4. Teaching & Student Engagement

• Conduct 5 online classes weekly according to prepared protocols & worksheets, fostering a dynamic learning experience.
• Implement lesson enhancements based on student needs and engagement levels.

What We’re Looking For (Ideal Candidate)

Skills & Experience

✔ 2+ years of experience in curriculum writing, educational content development, or English teaching.

✔ Strong proficiency in English language, writing pedagogy, and lesson structuring.

✔ Some experience in online teaching or facilitating virtual lessons.

✔ Excellent proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

✔ Ability to create engaging and pedagogically sound lesson materials.

✔ Proficiency in Google Workspace tools, PDF annotation, and MS Office.

✔ Comfortable working remotely, managing deadlines independently, and collaborating with a virtual team.
