Description
We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to lead our creative writing efforts across integrated campaigns for beverage and consumer brands. In this role, you’ll develop compelling brand narratives, craft persuasive messaging across all channels, and mentor junior writers while maintaining the strategic vision of our client partnerships. You’ll work cross-functionally with creative, strategy, and account teams to deliver impactful copy that drives brand awareness and consumer engagement. This is an opportunity to shape how leading brands communicate with their audiences while building and refining your craft at a dynamic PR agency.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop culture defining and internet breaking ideas, stunts/brand acts, and thinking.
- Create original, on-brand copy for earned-led campaigns, that can include everything from swag, to out of home, to digital and preroll ads, as well as, including press releases, media pitches, social content, website copy, brand communications, and more.
- Lead the writing process from brief to final deliverable, ensuring messaging clarity, brand consistency, and strategic alignment
- Collaborate with art directors and design teams to establish cohesive visual and verbal brand narratives and concept the strongest ideas
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and meeting tight deadlines
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior copywriters and support writers
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences to inform copy strategy
- Participate in strategy sessions and client meetings to contribute creative input on campaign direction
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional copywriting experience at a PR agency, marketing firm, or in-house brand team
- Proven portfolio demonstrating strong writing across multiple formats (press releases, social media, long-form content, brand narratives)
- Exceptional command of grammar, style, and brand voice with ability to adapt tone across diverse audiences and platforms
- Experience leading creative projects and collaborating cross-functionally with strategy, design, and account teams
- Familiarity with beverage and/or consumer goods marketing a plus
- Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-directed with ability to take initiative, solve problems creatively, and continuously refine work
- Experience mentoring or training other writers preferred

Salary Range: $75-$85k
