Senior Copywriter (Marketing & Advertising) for Consumer Packaged Goods in Nutrition Industry
Position Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter (with experience in Advertising and Marketing) to join our growing and sensational team as a Co-Founder. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join an exciting new startup where it’s not investors that get early equity stakes, but the team members who do the work to launch and grow the company. This role is for EQUITY only in the first few months. Later in 2025, all Co-Founder roles will convert over to traditional salaried positions, plus you keep all of the equity as an owner that you earned up to that point. You will have the option to start either part time or full time, whatever you are able to commit to.
Role Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter with a strong background in marketing, advertising, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce to develop compelling, high-converting content for our plant-based nutrition brand.
This role is not writing blog posts. It’s about crafting persuasive marketing copy that drives engagement and sales. You’ll work closely with the entire creative and marketing teams to develop everything from email campaigns, ad copy, website content, landing pages, and product descriptions to brand storytelling and promotional materials.
Please have experience in mid-length copy, such as brochures, sell sheets, trade show materials, that produces high-converting content that engagement, email signups, and purchases, with strong, consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Responsibilities
- Craft hooks, headlines, and storytelling-driven messaging to make our marketing stand out.
- Write compelling, conversion-driven landing pages, email campaigns, and ads, to maximize sales and engagement.
- Develop product descriptions, packaging copy, and website content that clearly communicate our brand’s value.
- Create engaging brand content for educational articles, and press materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, designers, and videographers to align copy with visuals and video scripts.
- Support trade show materials, brochures, and pitch decks with clear, persuasive messaging.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing copywriting, preferably in CPG, nutrition, or DTC eCommerce.
- Strong understanding of advertising, email marketing, and direct response copywriting.
- Experience writing high-converting ad copy, email sequences, landing pages, and product descriptions.
- Familiarity with performance marketing, A/B testing, and consumer psychology.
- Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and brand strategists to execute campaigns.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
