Overview As a Senior Copywriter, you will:
- Understand the fundamentals of storytelling and know how to bring an idea to life.
- Think conceptually and write across a wide range of media — including video, social, digital, and out-of-home.
- Inspire clients and team members with clear, compelling, and beautifully crafted copy.
- Stay tapped into culture: knowing what’s trending, what’s timeless, and the difference between the two.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, account, tech, design, and other cross-functional partners.
- Bring a strong work ethic and unwavering attention to detail.
- Take feedback constructively and build on it to elevate the work.
Responsibilities
- Support the larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept development.
- Complete research projects and assist with day-to-day creative needs.
- Assist in asset creation and deliver work you’re genuinely proud of.
- Apply strong strategic thinking and concept against creative briefs.
- Stay current on the latest industry and cultural trends.
- Maintain excellence in grammar, clarity, and tone across all deliverables.
- Uphold a high creative standard on all outputs.
- Lean into production to help carry ideas through from concept to completion.
- Mentor junior copywriters and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented creative culture.
- Work under the direction of a creative lead across a variety of projects, including:
- Digital, social, and owned content
- Script writing
- Web
- Event and sponsorship support
- Corporate reports and communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Creative Writing or Advertising/Portfolio school
- Experience writing for an advertising or marketing agency.
- A portfolio demonstrating conceptual brand work across multiple mediums.
- Strong creative writing samples — both real-world work and spec.
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, social strategy, and interactive experiences.
- 5-7 years of copywriting experience.
- Passionate about big ideas, obsessed with craft, and eager to take on new responsibilities.
