We are currently looking for a full-time Senior Copywriter to join our team working on The Chosen.
Location: Remote-first. West Coast Preferred. Travel within the US required.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re seeking a sharp creative writer with a passion for culture and storytelling.
The Senior Copywriter will flood each brainstorm and writer’s room with insight-led ideas, memorable hooks, headlines, and “what if”s. They challenge traditional advertising constraints. They know the best campaigns start on social, see insights in the comment section, and always have a link to a relevant creator or reference on standby.
They love collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to find creative solutions and make great work. The ideal candidate will excel at elevating the tone of voice for our clients and their brands, collaborating and building internal and external relationships, and developing ideas with legs.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping shape our work for The Chosen’s universe. You don’t have to believe in Jesus to thrive here– our job is to market a beautifully made, 1st century show that’s grown from humble origins to theatrical releases. In addition to developing a two-part global marketing campaign to launch Season 6, you’ll also guide brand development for a new animated show, a ‘Making Of’ documentary, ancillary content, and limited edition merchandise. Our Senior Copywriter will report to the Creative Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Development:
- Concept, write, and execute compelling copy for integrated campaigns, including social media, digital activations, and brand content.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and Content Creators to create cohesive and impactful assets across platforms.
- Develop brand voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Campaign Execution:
- Write scripts, brand manifestos, and social copy that resonate with target audiences and align with brand strategy.
- Ideate and develop evergreen and campaign content ideas tailored for specific channels.
- Participate in brainstorms and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
Client Engagement:
- Present creative ideas to internal teams and clients with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with client partners and other agencies to ensure seamless integration across campaigns.
Trend Awareness:
- Stay informed on cultural and platform trends, youth culture, and industry innovations.
- Leverage insights to create forward-thinking and culturally relevant work.
