SCRIPTWRITER WITH POKEMON-KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
Job description:
We at GTC Cards are looking for a creative writer to craft engaging scripts, for both our long and short form videos.
You will be “the voice” behind the content, building excitement, keeping viewers hooked, and making every clip feel like an event worth watching to the end.
What you will do:
- Write fun, engaging scripts for Pokemon card commentary videos and shorts
- Craft strong hooks that grab attention in the first few seconds
- Build and maintain the channel’s unique tone and personality
- Deliver scripts consistently and on deadline
- Work closely with the manager and video editor to ensure scripts translate well on screen
- Find and analyze (10) relevant clips for the long videos, and add necessary commentary in an interesting way that does not seem redundant.

- Shortform – 60 shorts per month scripted
- Longform – 4-5 videos per month scripted
Job requirements:
- MUST have experience writing scripts for YouTube or similar video content
- MUST be knowledgeable about Pokémon cards and the TCG community
- MUST have the ability to build excitement, energy and engagement through writing
- MUST be reliable, organized, and able to manage a consistent content schedule
- MUST have experience writing short and long form content without the use of AI
