Scriptwriter – Shorts | Mobilistic Media
Using an existing library of long form content (and the research put into creating it), you will pick out the most compelling threads and write new short-form oriented scripts that will resonate with viewers. This isn’t about clipping up old videos, but picking out and re-working the best stories specifically for a short format.
This role will be focussed on the automobilistic YouTube channel, a motorsport history channel with over 100k subscribers. Successful and ambitious candidates may have further opportunities.
We value the human touch. Candidates suspected of using generative AI in the writing process will not be considered.

- Strong portfolio of high performing factual shorts
- Writes to maintain attention without compromising accuracy
- Existing motorsport / car knowledge & passion (preferred)

Job requirements
- Millions of verifiable short form views as a writer
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills
- Accommodating of a UK time-zone work schedule
Nice to have (non essential)
- Working knowledge of editing software
- Awareness of key motorsport brands and concepts
- Understanding of relevant engineering concepts
- Passion for cars
