Remote Digital Data Review Specialist
The Digital Data Review Specialist is responsible maintaining several email inboxes, reviewing and completing all keying request. This role will prepare claims received internally to be scanned for processing. The Digital Data Review Specialist is required to transfer data from one source and enter it into an Access database quickly and accurately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain all Outlook email boxes to ensure that all requests for keying non-standard forms are completed and sent for scanning to be processed.
- Work directly with vendors to organize and distribute all required document types
- Work directly with members to help get their reimbursement requests processed efficiently
- Review all necessary information on prescription labels received that is needed for processing such as CPT codes, amounts, dates, units, etc. – and submit for scanning
- Review escalated documents and educate internally and externally to prevent future escalation
- Organize precertification and authorization request
- Process documents through Workflow Manager
- Claim and document reviewing in QicLink
- Assist in the training of new Digital Data Review Specialist
- Review workflow reporting for turnaround and auditing purposes
- Regular, reliable attendance is required
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 1 year of data-entry experience required
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required. Access and Adobe Pro preferred
- Must be able to key at a minimum 10,000 keystrokes per hour with 99% accuracy
