Psychology & Wellness Content Writer – $50K/yr – $80K/yr
Greenwich Psychology Group is seeking a talented content published writer with a passion for psychology, wellness, and impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create compelling, human-authored content that educates, inspires, and elevates brand visibility. This role requires creativity, editorial excellence, and fluency in digital content marketing and healthcare communications.
As a Content Writer you will produce original wellness and psychology content across multiple platforms—including publications, blogs, newsletters, media pitches, community talks, and social media. You’ll collaborate closely with our clinical leadership team to develop marketing materials and educational resources that engage patients, build public trust, and reflect our brand’s voice.
This is a flexible part-time role (20-40 hours/week) with high earning potential.

We offer discreet, evidence-based care for high functioning clients and are frequently featured in national publications for our clinical expertise. As we grow our media presence and patient-facing outreach, we are looking for an editorial writer who can translate complex psychological insights into clear, empathetic, and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial Writing & Wellness Content Development
- Write original, high-quality content across platforms: high authority publications, blog posts, psychology articles, newsletters, brochures, and landing pages.
- Conduct research to ensure content accuracy, scientific credibility, and emotional resonance.
- Craft persuasive, client-centered copy for social media, website, and wellness campaigns.
- Adapt voice and style for various formats (TV segments, print, digital media) while maintaining consistent brand messaging.
- Develop talking points and scripts for TV segments, community wellness talks, and webinars on topics such as:
- Emotional Resilience in a Fast-Paced World
- Raising Mentally Strong Kids in the Age of Social Media
- The Psychology of Burnout
- High-Functioning, Still Struggling
- Teen Loneliness and Substance Use
Marketing & Content Strategy
- Write wellness newsletters.
- Collaborate with clinical team to translate insights into patient-friendly language.
- Plan seasonal marketing calendars with wellness themes, patient education goals,
- Create mental health content for digital engagement and media visibility.
Media Outreach & Publication
- Pitch and publish articles in high-authority wellness publications such as HuffPost, Psychology Today, Newsweek, NY Post, Verywell Mind, etc.
- Track content performance metrics and adjust strategies for improved visibility and patient engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Literature, Health, Wellness, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in wellness writing, mental health copywriting, or editorial roles in lifestyle/healthcare media.
- Published work in top-tier outlets (e.g., Forbes, Psychology Today, Verywell Mind, NY Post, HuffPost).
- Proven skills in copywriting, copy editing, and content marketing.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities with attention to scientific accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex psychological topics in clear, engaging language.
- Creative writing skills with an eye for narrative flow, empathy, and brand storytelling.
- Experience managing multiple writing projects on deadline in a collaborative environment.
- All submissions must be original and human-authored. AI-generated content will not be accepted.
Compensation
- $50,000-75,000 Based on publications and experience
- High earning potential with additional bonuses for published content
