I have created a website called ReinventBlue.org. It’s purpose is “to help restore a healthy democracy by expanding the Democratic coalition and improving how we govern. Doing so requires honest self-reflection and new solutions to our problems. It also involves finding a middle way through compromise.” Most of the content was generated by ChatGpt. It all needs to be looked at by a human being.
The applicant needs to have a track record of involvement in and support for the Democratic Party while also seeing it as very much in need of reinvention if it is to succeed. The applicant must be an undergraduate student at U.S. college or university; have English as their first spoken language; majoring in Political Science or History; and active in Democratic Party politics.
Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style and grammar.
- Conduct fact-checking and research to verify information, sources, and data presented in articles
- Insure that all links work and that all references are accurate
- Refine content, improve readability, and maintain a consistent voice across the website
- Maintain high standards of technical writing for policy summaries, proposals, or detailed reports when necessary
Skills
- In depth knowledge and interested in U.S. politics
- Proven experience in proofreading, copy editing, and editing digital content with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
