Now, we’re on the hunt for word wizards—people with an exceptional eye for grammar, an appreciation for storytelling, and the ability to transform a rough draft into a compelling personal statement.
You’ll work closely with students applying to college, medical school, and graduate programs, helping them refine their essays and tell their stories in ways that captivate admissions committees.

Editor Responsibilities:
- Edit and provide feedback on application essays for college, medical school, and graduate programs.
- Help students craft engaging, authentic personal statements that showcase their unique experiences.
- Work 5-15 hours per week, with some availability in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Collaborate with our Senior Advisor to refine your writing and editing skills.
- Respond to students promptly and professionally.
- Stay organized and manage multiple student essays at once.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a college degree (any major, as long as you’ve got strong writing chops).
- Is highly motivated to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Has exceptional fluency in English grammar and style.
- Can work independently and juggle multiple projects at once.
- Interest in graduate/medical school admissions is a plus, but not required.
A Day in the Life:
On any given day, you might:
- Transform a student’s messy first draft into a polished, compelling essay.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students tell their stories more effectively.
- Juggle multiple essays, deadlines, and emails (all while sipping your favorite coffee or tea).
- Collaborate with our team to continuously improve our editing process.
