Part-time Content Writer at S&G Content Marketing
Are you a content marketing professional with an insatiable passion for strategizing, ideating, writing, and optimizing content to attract, educate, and retain customers? Are you the perfect mix of marketing whiz and journalism pro? Do you have experience with writing both short-form and long-form content, including (but not limited to!) blogs, op-eds, white papers, e-books, thought leadership content, social content, and more?
If you answered yes, you may be a great fit for a part-time content writer role with our fast-growing team at S&G. In this position, you’ll work 100% remotely to create content for clients across a range of industries, from SaaS to manufacturing to medical devices and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Writing B2B and B2C content, including blog posts, e-books, white papers, landing pages, and web pages
- Optimizing existing content to improve voice and tone, increase SEO performance, enhance quality, and make timely updates
- Participating in brainstorming and topic ideation
- Incorporating keywords and SEO best practices into content deliverables
- Performing independent research on a range of B2B topics and industries
- Conducting interviews with subject matter experts and translating their expertise into engaging content
- Applying/incorporating feedback from editors and clients
- Working well under pressure, managing multiple projects, and meeting daily deadlines
What You Bring
- 5 to 10 years of experience in content marketing or journalism
- Editorial and content marketing experience
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, engaging messaging that resonates with a range of audiences, from executives to consumers
- Experience conducting research and interviewing subject matter experts or other sources
- Proficiency in Slack, Google Docs, and project management tools
- Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent working experience
- Existing knowledge of SEO is a must
- Background writing about complex and highly regulated B2B industries is a must. Experience covering healthcare, SaaS, or finance industries is a bonus

Salary: $30,000-$35,000 (based on 20 hours of work per week)
