Marketing Copywriter – From $45,000 a year
We’re seeking a skilled copywriter with proven expertise in both B2B long-form and short-form content. While the primary focus will be on crafting persuasive promotional and marketing emails, the role also involves writing for social media, digital advertising, video scripts, website content, and various marketing materials. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a flair for creative and compelling storytelling, capable of delivering engaging, on-brand messaging in a fast-paced, e-commerce-driven environment. Experience with AI tools and prompt engineering is highly desirable.
Duties
- Write compelling and conversion-focused promotional emails and automated email sequences.
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, landing pages, and more.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to develop cohesive campaign assets.
- Craft persuasive and story-driven copy for video scripts, ads, and content marketing initiatives.
- Create and update sales enablement materials such as one-pagers and marketing brochures.
- Conduct thorough content research to support copy accuracy, impact, and value.
- Ensure brand voice and messaging remain consistent and impactful across all channels.
- Routinely analyze content performance to continually refine and improve messaging strategies.
- Stay informed about content trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of copywriting experience across email, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Native English writer (preferred) with excellent grammar and storytelling skills.
- Proven experience creating long-form (e.g., blog posts, scripts) and short-form (e.g., ads, social posts) content.
- Experience with AI tools and prompt engineering is highly desirable.
- E-commerce or digital marketing agency experience is ideal, but not required.
- Strong research capabilities and ability to write with authority on a variety of topics.
- Familiarity with brand voice development and creative storytelling techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Experience with tools like Google Docs, Canva, or content collaboration platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively contribute to campaigns and team goals.
