Overview:
A growing company in York, SC is seeking a Marketing and Advertising Specialist to develop and execute dynamic marketing campaigns that promote the brand, products, and services. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience across both digital and traditional marketing channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in marketing principles, proficiency with digital tools, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and growth opportunities
- Assist in setting marketing goals, KPIs, and managing budgets
Advertising Campaigns
- Design and manage advertising campaigns across social media, Google Ads, print, radio, email, and other channels
- Write compelling copy for ads, promotional materials, landing pages, and collateral
- Collaborate with graphic designers and creative teams to produce campaign assets
Brand Management
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms
- Maintain and update the company website and oversee digital content creation
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage and grow social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize for engagement, conversions, and ROI
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to report on effectiveness
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with company initiatives
- Coordinate with external agencies, media outlets, printers, and vendors as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or digital communications
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and audience segmentation
- Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp, Canva, HubSpot, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SEO/SEM and website CMS
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with B2B and/or manufacturing marketing is a plus
- Event planning or trade show coordination experience is a bonus
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with some flexibility for remote work if needed
- Occasional travel for trade shows, events, or market research may be required
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
