Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Managing Editor who will be responsible for the quality, integrity, accuracy, and on-time delivery of the brand’s print, digital and e-newsletter content.
Essential Job Function:
- Manage the flow of print magazine articles through the production cycle (runsheet)
- Assign and upload print and web-only content to the brand website
- Review (copyedit/proofread) the Daily Feed e-newsletter
- Perform first edit on all print and web-only content; check subsequent edits by others
- Manage content contributor contracts in Aspire and invoicing
- Serve as the brand’s website expert and as its liaison with the IT & digital tech teams
- Monitor the brand’s website and e-newsletter performance & find/suggest improvement strategies
- Serve as the “backup” for e-newsletter production (e.g., when the associate editor is out)

- Strong communication/diplomacy skills

- Skillful with Microsoft 365 suite and Adobe InCopy
- Proficient with various CMS platforms
- Superior capability with e-newsletter & SEO best practices
- Experienced with SEO best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or similar field
We are excited to share the salary range for this position is $55,000 – $59,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
