Lead Copywriter, Health-E Commerce – $70,000 – 90,000/year
We are seeking a Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating clear, persuasive, and engaging content across various marketing platforms, including email campaigns, social media, blog articles, including product descriptions, and more, while also playing an essential role in shaping the overall site experience. What you’ll do:
- Campaign Ideation: Partner closely with creative leads and designers to concept and write into campaigns as briefed by stakeholders.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging headlines, ads, and body copy that align with brand tone and messaging for various marketing materials, including:
- Product descriptions and features
- Email marketing campaigns
- Homepage Site Experience
- Performance Marketing ads
- B2B2C Assets
- Social media posts and ad copy
- Landing pages, banners, and promotional materials
- Site Experience Optimization: Contribute to improving the overall user experience on our websites by writing copy that enhances navigation, product discovery, and customer journey. This includes:
- Crafting clear and persuasive calls to action (CTAs) across the site to drive engagement and conversions.
- Collaborating with the web design and development teams to optimize content flow, enhance user experience, and ensure content is aligned with user needs.
- Brand Voice & Tone: Ensure that all written content maintains a consistent brand voice that is friendly, trustworthy, and informative.
- Customer-Centric Messaging: Create compelling, customer-focused copy that addresses shopping for 100% guaranteed eligible FSA/HSA eligible products. Focus on making complex topics easy to understand.
- Conversion Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop copy that enhances conversion rates across the site and key landing pages.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, Integrated marketing, and Growth Marketing) to ensure consistency and alignment across content and user experience.
- Editorial Review: Review and edit content for voice, tone and strategic alignment against project briefs.
- Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines. Ensure all copy is error-free and polished before publication.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with trends in the health, wellness, and e-commerce industries to ensure our content remains relevant and forward-thinking.
What you’ll need:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in e-commerce, health/wellness, or a related field. Experience writing for digital channels (website, email, performance marketing) is a must.
- Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to craft clear, engaging, and informative content that speaks to customers at various stages of their journey.
- Ecommerce Focus: Experience writing copy for websites with a strong focus on user experience, including navigation, product discovery, and calls to action.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all content is consistent, accurate, and aligned with our brand guidelines.
- Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams, including design, integrated and growth marketing.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively about content strategy and user experience, developing innovative ideas that engage and convert customers.
- Tools & Software: Google Docs, Figma, Monday
- Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Health Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Final compensation is evaluated on various factors which include but aren’t limited to experience, skills, internal equity among peers, and geographic location.
- Compensation: $70,000 – 90,000
