Kforce Content Writer
–Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Content Writer in Madison, WI. Duties:
- Content Writer will proactively work with marketing managers, product managers and copywriters to implement new and updated web content
- Optimize copy for search engine marketing
- Develop engaging content that drives customers through the purchasing journey
- Load new and updated web pages into our Content Management System (CMS)
- As a Content Writer, you will adhere to the brand and editorial style guide to ensure correct articulation of our brand voice and tone, consistent punctuation, capitalization and basic formatting styles
- Participate in quality assurance testing for content style and functionality
Requirements
- SEO experience, including analyzing competitors, developing optimization recommendations and recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Knowledge of writing using AP Style
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology; Working in 2 week sprints and weekly huddles
- Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic photoshop skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
