Junior Technical Writer/Editor
These role consists of researching and creating content for our school blogs and websites.
We are looking for individuals who are organized and capable of producing clear, original, accurate content on a regular schedule. This position requires excellent writing skills, and a high degree of professionalism. Writers will collaborate with our marketing strategy team to clarify topical coverage and ensure relevance in assignments.
Only applicants with a legal background will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Write original legal blog posts, articles, and website copy geared toward both consumer and corporate audiences
Curate and edit content under the guidance of an editorial team/process
Stay informed on trends in the Academic industry and client-specific practice areas
Collaborate with the technical marketing team to optimize content using SEO best practices (e.g., keyword usage, headlines, tone, etc.)
Our writing team is not responsible for topic selection or publishing content on our website. We intentionally structure our writing team in a way that frees them up to focus on writing/editing.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong legal research and writing ability
Ability to manage deadlines and follow an editorial calendar
Highly organized and attentive to detail

Pay: $87,099.35 – $110,807.82 per year
