Role Overview
The Junior Digital Marketing Writer will support the content team by creating, editing, and optimizing marketing copy for digital platforms. This role is designed for an entry-level professional with strong writing skills who is eager to develop within digital marketing and content creation.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread digital marketing content, including blog posts, email campaigns, website copy, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align content with campaign goals.
- Apply SEO principles to digital content to increase online visibility.
- Track and report on engagement metrics to support ongoing content improvements.
- Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all content.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0–2 years of professional writing, copyediting, or content creation experience (internships count).
- Must-have: strong AP-style copy editing.
- Must-have: experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing systems.
- Must-have: basic HTML for email formatting.
- Must-have: proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Must-have: strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Salary
$80,000 – $95,000 USD per year, plus benefits.
