Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freelance Proofreader located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing and correcting written materials for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Tasks include ensuring consistency in style and tone, providing feedback on language and structure, and translating documents as needed. Effective communication with team members is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Spelling and Grammar
  • Strong Proofreading and Translation skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and on-site
  • Experience in technical or energy-related content is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or related field
