Freelance Comedic Script Writer for YouTube Shorts – $15 per script (60–120 words each)
I’m launching a YouTube channel that explores English pronunciation and the funny mistakes learners from around the world make — through short, character-driven comedy sketches. I’m looking for a freelance comedic script writer to help bring these ideas to life.
What you’ll do:
- Write short, one-on-one comedic dialogues (60–120 words each).
- Base each script on a theme, city, country, or list of English words provided.
- Include two characters: a recurring teacher and a rotating cast of “students” (e.g., busy Brazilian mom, anxious Italian student, curious Japanese teen).
- Keep language simple — no advanced vocab needed.
Ideal candidate:
- Strong sense of humor and timing.
- Culturally aware or well-traveled — the audience is international (especially Europe & Asia).
- Able to capture character personality quickly in short dialogue.
- Reliable and comfortable working remotely, with flexible deadlines.
Workload & Pay:
- Freelance / per-script basis
- 8 shorts per month
- $15 per script (~$0.15/word)
