Freelance B2B Copywriter – $40.00 – $45.00 / Hourly
Robert Half’s marketing & creative client is looking for a freelance B2B Copywriter for a 2-month contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a remote, project-based role; hours will fluctuate weekly between 10 – 25 hours-per-week. The Copywriter will assist in creating engaging, persuasive content tailored to business audiences. They will focus on crafting clear and compelling copy for various marketing channels, including digital platforms like LinkedIn, email campaigns, and websites, as well as traditional content such as headlines and infographics. They will also transform complex ideas into accessible and impactful messaging. Interested candidates should include a portfolio of relevant B2B writing samples in addition to resume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a variety of marketing assets, including LinkedIn posts, ad copy, email campaigns, website content, infographic headlines, and other traditional and digital materials
- Tailor messaging to specific B2B audiences, ensuring alignment with the brand voice
- Design customer-centric copy relevant to touchpoints in the customer journey
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to understand the features, benefits, and unique value propositions of products and solutions
- Translate technical product details into clear, customer-friendly messaging that addresses

Requirements
- Degree in writing, marketing, or related
- 3–5+ years of in-house or agency experience as a copywriter for B2B channels
- Portfolio of relevant writing samples
- Expertise in developing LinkedIn copy, ad copy, email marketing content, website text, and other materials
- Knowledge of B2B product marketing
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication and Project management skills
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Self-starter
