Hims & Hers is looking for a part-time Editorial Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality, accurate, and engaging content across sex, hair health, and weight loss categories. In this role, you will assist the Senior Editors of the Hims and Hers blogs (80%) as well as Senior Manager of app content and retention (20%). You will play a crucial role in content creation and optimization as well as publishing of new articles in our CMS. You’ll help ensure that content meets our editorial standards, legal compliance, and medical guidelines, and resonates with our diverse readership.

You excel at providing support throughout the editorial process—from content planning and creation to publication. You’re proactive, data-savvy, and eager to leverage your understanding of SEO, copyediting, and organic marketing. You’re highly organized and understand the value of diligent project management. You have a keen editorial eye and can help ensure content quality, compliance, and brand voice. You thrive in dynamic environments and can effectively manage multiple priorities and requests from various stakeholders, consistently meeting deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail. You’re dedicated to driving impactful content outcomes in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
You Will:
- Refine and update blog articles, app content, short-form content, and other marketing materials as needed
- Implement SEO updates (keyword changes, metadata optimizations, internal linking) while maintaining an approachable, medically accurate brand voice
- Implement compliance updates (distill feedback from our legal team and use this to make targeted language adjustments)
- Publish and format content in the CMS, ensuring accurate metadata, images, and tags before articles go live
- Perform final quality checks on layout, references, and citations for readability and compliance
- Generate, document, and manage app deeplink source of truth for the Hims and Hers apps, plus linking target updates for the SEO team
- Maintain and update content databases with new and existing content, managing supporting documentation and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Track deadlines, manage project timelines, and keep stakeholders informed of progress
- Help refine and document editorial workflows, contributing ideas to improve efficiency and clarity
You Have:
- 2–3 years of editorial, writing, and content management experience (health content preferred; app content a plus)
- Experience with high-volume SEO content creation is a plus
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, WordPress) and cloud-based project management tools (e.g., Monday, Airtable, Asana)
- Strong writing and editing skills, with keen attention to grammar and brand voice
- Basic knowledge of editorial SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization
- Excellent organization and communication, capable of juggling multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability and curiosity, eager to learn new tools, refine processes, and grow within a fast-paced environment
