Digital Media Advertising Specialist – $50,000 – $60,000 a year

A fast-growing digital marketing agency is seeking a full-time Digital Media Advertising Specialist to plan, build, and manage high-performing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll work with dynamic clients in the Washington, DC area and across the country, helping them meet real business goals through data-driven ad strategies and creative execution.
We offer fully remote work with a flexible schedule, though preference will be given to applicants based in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
You Are:
A results-driven ad strategist who understands how to turn business goals into high-impact campaigns. You’re confident navigating ad managers on platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Yelp, Nextdoor, and more. You know how to select the right platform, audience, placements, and creatives to deliver results. You’re as comfortable writing ad copy as you are configuring a pixel or interpreting analytics.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop, launch, and optimize paid digital ad campaigns across platforms including Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Yelp, Nextdoor, and others.
- Assess each client’s business goals, target audience, and budget to determine the best platforms, campaign objectives, bidding strategies, and ad placements.
- Write compelling ad copy that drives clicks and conversions across different audiences and formats.
- Collaborate with our design team to assign, review, and optimize creative assets (graphics and videos) that align with campaign goals.
- Install, configure, and test tracking pixels, UTMs, and custom conversions using tools like Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag.
- Monitor and interpret campaign performance using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
- Make informed optimization decisions and recommendations based on real-time performance data.
- Provide regular reporting on KPIs with clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, ad policies, and digital advertising trends.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing paid digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, etc.)
- Proven ability to design and optimize ad funnels based on objectives (awareness, traffic, leads, conversions, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of conversion tracking and analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Meta Events Manager)
- Experience interpreting campaign data to recommend creative and strategic adjustments
- Ability to confidently manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously. Agency experience is a plus!
- Exceptional writing skills for ad copy, headlines, and CTAs
- Organized, accountable, and able to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines
- Strong client communication skills
