Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Freelance Digital Copywriter to craft clear, engaging digital content primarily for our client, an educational institution. This role focuses on developing user-first copy that supports marketing goals across websites, paid media, email campaigns, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UX writing, SEO, and performance-driven content to enhance user engagement and brand storytelling.

Rate: 30-35/hr
Contract duration: 6-12 months (potential for full-time)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital copy strategies aligned with marketing objectives.
- Create compelling content for websites, landing pages, emails, paid ads, and video scripts.
- Collaborate with design, SEO, marketing, and communications teams to optimize user experience and conversion.
- Audit and refine copy regularly based on data insights and UX best practices.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and adherence to style guidelines across all content.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of digital copywriting or UX content strategy experience.
- Preferred experience in higher ed or non-profits
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-first and performance-focused digital content.
