Copywriter, The Visionary Group – $2,000 – $4,000 a month
We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Copywriter who can craft high-converting email and landing page copy that drives measurable results for our eCommerce clients. In this role, you’ll transform brand strategy into compelling messaging that engages diverse audiences across the customer journey. You’ll play a key part in shaping how our clients communicate, convert, and scale – bringing creative ideas to life in collaboration with designers, strategists, and our broader performance team.
Requirements/Experience:
- 2+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or eCommerce-focused environment
- Proven portfolio showcasing DTC email campaigns and/or direct-response landing pages
- Familiarity with Klaviyo or other ESPs and an understanding of how email contributes to the overall customer lifecycle
- Solid understanding of core eCommerce metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and revenue per send
- Ability to write in multiple brand voices and tailor messaging to specific audience segments
- Strong grasp of lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalized communication strategies
- Experience collaborating with designers, strategists, and other creatives to bring campaigns from concept to execution
- Exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to use AI tools to support research, ideation, and copy output
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Roles & Responsibilities for this position:
- Write high-converting email campaigns and automation flows, ensuring each piece aligns with brand strategy, customer journey stages, and revenue goals
- Develop persuasive landing page copy that clearly communicates product value, reinforces brand positioning, and maximizes conversion rate
- Translate creative direction and strategic briefs into messaging frameworks, subject lines, CTAs, and content outlines that support performance goals
- Adapt copy across a range of tones and audiences, maintaining consistency with each client’s brand voice and overarching messaging strategy
- work closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals work cohesively across email layouts, landing pages, and promotional assets
- Partner with strategists to review performance insights and adjust messaging based on engagement data, testing outcomes, and customer segmentation
- Apply lifecycle marketing principles to craft personalized messaging tailored to subscriber segments, buying behaviors, and customer retention goals
- Review, edit, and refine copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards and compliance requirements
- Leverage AI tools and workflows to streamline research, ideation, and draft development without compromising creativity or quality
- Maintain an organized workflow to manage multiple deadlines, revisions, and campaign calendars across several client accounts
