REMOTE POSITION
Salary: 75K – 80K
We are looking for a Copywriter to join an amazing team. This person will work closely with the creative team and an Art Director to create original ideas that drive businesses and brands. As a Copywriter, you will own the story that is being told, whether it lives online or offline, as part of a campaign, an innovation, or within a presentation. Craft is key, as this person will need to tell the story in a voice that fits the brand, the medium, and most importantly, the idea.
About the Job
· Responsible for the daily creative execution of projects, including writing, adapting from core materials, reviewing projects, and incorporating comments
· Strong understanding of brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products
· Understands brand strategies and how the assets created help solve clients’ business challenges
· Write in a variety of brand voices as needed and demonstrate competent knowledge of the disease state or product category
· Incorporate and implement content direction or changes provided by Copy leadership, the Client (Brand Team or Medical, Legal, Regulatory teams), Account or Strategy
· Understand the role of a brief in informing concept and content, and is committed and disciplined in meeting its objectives and mandates
· Delivers assignments/projects on time; works collaboratively to keep projects strategically on target and on time through revisions and external input
· Works collaboratively with all cross-functional team members, including Copy Leadership, Art, Editing, Project Management, Art, Account Management, and User Experience
· Demonstrate understanding of or learn the basics regarding legal, medical, and regulatory pharma guidelines
· Begins to fully grasp the mediums required of the brands worked on
About You
· At least 1+ years as a pharmaceutical/healthcare Associate Copywriter in an ad agency setting
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
· Natural storytelling skills, excellent presentation, and public speaking skills
· Experience developing digital and traditional concepts
· A portfolio of work showing examples of your own brand concepts and campaigns, as well as executions of concepts that you assisted with
· Must know when to ask for assistance and when to seek out additional work if/when you have capacity
· Excellent attention to detail
