About The Role Problems Are Our Playground. And that is where we play. At R&R you will solve problems for our clients with our team of clever, curious, dedicated, and talented problem solvers. You’ll concept and develop original, entertaining work in collaboration with senior creatives, while continuing to build confidence in your creative voice.

You don’t have to work in our office or any office. This is a remote first job, but travel may be required for production or critical meetings. Your partner is based on the west coast, but it’s up to you when you sleep.

We’re after creatives who have some years in the business and a book that shows it. Attitude is critical; we’re of the mind that bringing ideas to life is actually fun.

What You’ll Do

  • Concept and develop ideas across all mediums that are insightful, relevant, innovative, original, and effective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ideas are fully supported, explored, and executed.
  • Able to interpret a creative brief independently and with curiosity, showing tonal range in writing
  • Lead the writing on assigned projects while contributing creatively beyond just copy
  • Provide copy and concept oversight from idea inception through final production, with support from Partners and senior creatives.
  • Research client products and services to ensure copy and concepts are accurate, strategic, and on-target.
  • Ensure all copy and concepts solve client problems in meaningful ways, aligned with the strategic creative plan.
  • Stay current on industry trends, cultural moments, and emerging creative influences.
  • Follow agency business practices, philosophies, and R&R policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience working in an advertising agency.
  • An emerging portfolio that demonstrates impactful, thoughtful work.
  • A collaborative team player whose values align with the agency’s core principles: fearlessness, integrity, advocacy, impact, ingenuity, and foresight.
  • Strong creative drive and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills. Can manage and prioritize multiple work streams
  • A solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Comfort seeking feedback and critique from senior team members.
  • Able to amend and redevelop campaigns in response to feedback from the senior creative
  • A clear understanding of the difference between being on-brand and on-strategy—and the importance of both.
  • Experience presenting ideas to groups of all sizes, both internally and client-facing.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to support teammates as needed.
  • Interest in growing beyond execution into project ownership and relationship management.
  • Ability to think and work independently at times, without a creative partner.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Comfortable writing in multiple styles and for various formats and channels
  • AI knowledge with some experience in leveraging AI tools.
