Copywriter IV – $81/hr – $86/hr
Payrate: $81.00- $86.00/hr.
Summary:
You’ll partner with teams including Brand Strategy, Performance, Research & Insights, Product, UX, Legal and Compliance to build and measure copywriting best practices across the customer journey. You’ll work on multiple projects at once with the ability to balance priorities while consistently delivering fresh and engaging conversion-driven copy. You’re an organized and strategic content partner, writing with clarity and sharpness through brainstorming, pitching, and seeing your craft through. You work to balance writing with brevity and conciseness where conversion is the focus, or providing an emotive tone when connecting with the customer in their context.
Key job Responsibilities:
- Lead compelling messaging strategies and campaigns, from development to execution of short-form copy, including campaigns for digital advertising, print, social, OOH; and long-form copy, including websites, email campaigns, video scripts and presentations.
- Be the brand champion for our businesses across Health; developing and evolving our brand frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, growth, product, researchers, legal, and PR to craft and hone language across a variety of contexts, ensuring the brand experience is consistent end-to-end.
- Collaborate with performance to test, iterate and create mechanisms to gain feedback from customers and use insight and data as an input to drive results.
- Be a conceptual thinker capable of building and guiding creative briefs and crafting multiple ideas and messages.
- Measure and evaluate current processes within the discipline and improve them through documentation.
- Ability to formulate, present and argue copy / positioning direction to with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Ability to dive deep into quantitative data around customer perceptions and behavior, with the ability to translate it into clear, actionable creative direction.
Basic Qualification:
- 8+ years of experience working as a copywriter or marketing writer at an agency or in-house team
- Bachelor degree in advertising/writing or equivalent professional experience required
- A portfolio that showcases experience leading concept development, voice and tone, style guides, and toolkits for 360-degree campaigns for web and print that drive adoption of established design standards across onsite, emails, social media, in-app, display, offsite, PR.
- Ability to break down complex topics into concise customer-friendly content with the ability to present a strong rationale for copywriting decisions
- Proactive attitude, creative-thinking abilities, and confidence to challenge the status quo while addressing business and customer needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in consumer healthcare experiences or other complex and highly regulated industries.
- Working knowledge of the design process, including experience with design specs
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and various project management tools
- Openness to learning new skills including new software, products, and ways of working
- Positive energy and leadership capabilities, as well as a willingness to work outside of a typical role to deliver holistic solutions to customer problems
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $81.00- $86.00 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
