Copywriter III
Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Copywriter III to join our Client’s team.
We host a wide range of events worldwide, from intimate gatherings of executives to our flagship conference, the Data + AI Summit, which draws over 50,000 attendees annually. As an events copywriter, you will be responsible for creating emails, paid media, promos, website content and other comms to support events, principally Data + AI Summit.
Core assignments:
- Work with the events team to create written content for Data + AI Summit
- Copywriting for the event website
- Copywriting for emails: Registration, informational, sponsor, content and registrant email (approx. 180 emails/115 net new from February – June)
- Copywriting for mobile push notifications (approx. 100)
- Copywriting for digital promos (paid media, paid social) Example, example
- Copywriting for special interest programs (Partner Summit, Executive Forum, etc.)
- Copywriting for onsite digital signage and promotions
Weekly expectations:
- Draft copy for event emails, website and other digital promotion of the event
- Edit and refresh existing copy using channel best practices and data
- Work with the events team to review, edit and finalize emails and promotional copy
- Prioritize what needs to be completed each week to sync with the email calendar
- See projects through to completion – process feedback from stakeholders, make revisions, and hand off final copy
- Ensure copy follows our brand guidelines, tone and style
Skills
- 5+ years of professional writing experience in an advertising agency or corporate marketing department
- Experience in supporting event marketing, ability to prioritize for quick turn-around of needed assets
- Demonstrated ability to pivot between assignments and handle fast turnaround times
- Familiarity with AP Style
- Experience working with tech clients, particularly cloud software companies, preferred
Scope
- Timeframe: February – July 2026
