Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our communications and marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting compelling, clear, and persuasive content that resonates with our diverse audiences. This mid-level role requires a skilled writer who can create a variety of materials, from B2B marketing campaigns and social media content to patient education materials and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and patient education resources.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with Emcara Health’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Conduct research to understand our target audience, industry trends, and competitors, and apply these insights to create relevant and impactful content.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, concision, and consistency.
  • Assist in the development and execution of content strategies and editorial calendars to drive main business priorities, including social media copy that promotes brand awareness.
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and other team members to deliver cohesive and effective marketing materials.
  • Track and analyze the performance of content to inform future strategies and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and formats.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience applying them to content creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in writing for healthcare or primary care services.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Basic graphic design skills or experience working with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
